Brittany Hepperly, LMFT

Life is hard.  So many stressors, pressures, and losses that we face every day.  My desire as a counselor is to meet you where you are at and to walk with you as you find a renewed hope in the midst of life difficulties and pain.  Every person and every situation is unique, and I believe that there is no one-size fits all prescription for your life.  Therefore, I want your counseling experience to be unique to you and your current situation whether it is family or marital struggles, challenges adjusting to life transitions or losses, anxiety, depression and/or other life difficulties.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing counseling for individuals, couples, and families.  I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Maryville College and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Professional Counseling at Johnson University.  I have been fortunate to be a part of Foothills Christian Counseling since 2011.  Past counseling experiences also include work at the Blount County Jail.

I come from a Christian perspective, yet I work with individuals with differing viewpoints as well.  I also recognize the immense amount of courage it takes to seek help, and I believe a significant sign of strength is to recognize our need for help.  Therefore, I want counseling to be a non-judgmental, respectful, and safe place where you can work through issues that leave you “stuck” in life and to offer you new perspectives, tools, and resources that can empower you to find new ways to solve life’s problems and to heal from life’s hurts.
