Amy Russell, M.Div.

 
Amy Russell, M.Div. is a biblical counselor offering individual, parenting and family counseling from a biblical perspective.  She received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical Studies at Southeastern College and a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  She is in the certification process with ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) to be certified as a biblical counselor and also received training in Conflict Coaching from Peacemaker Ministries.  
Her areas of focus include abuse recovery, adolescent issues, anger, anxiety, co-dependency/enabling, conflict resolution, defiance, depression, eating disorders, grief/loss, OCD, relationship issues, self-image/view struggles, self-mutilation, spiritual growth and discipleship, suicidal ideation, women's issues, and family dynamics related to divorce, step-families and sibling conflict.  
In addition to practicing at Foothills Christian Counseling since 2012, her professional background consists of over 5 years as lead counselor at an individual and family Christian counseling residential program.
